We Share Stuff is a social enterprise based in Birmingham UK that helps disadvantaged individuals and communities overcome barriers using technology. We Share Stuff has a completely virtual setup with no offices and staff volunteers who work part time and on a project to project basis. We Share Stuff also uses a lot of cloud based tools like; Google Apps (Gmail & Docs), Twitter etc. Given the tight Google Apps integration, We Share Stuff uses Socialwok to share ideas and track the statuses of various community projects.

"A lot of the work we do within We Share Stuff is done through the cloud. We do not have offices and do not work based on any set number of hours. We work together using any number of services such as email, Twitter and Google apps. By using Socialwok as our core business sharing application, we can quickly post work related stuff to the relevant place and to the relevant people. The trick is to record your thoughts on Socialwok as soon as you have them instead of waiting for the next meeting and saying ' Oh yes, i read your email and thought it was a good idea'. By putting down that ' good idea' comment as soon as you have it within the Socialwok feed, increases the chance of the idea being acted upon."
